Hi Mahesh,Can you please share your views on Allahabad Bank?
If I want to buy a bank stock (midcap) among Allahabad Bank, Dena Bank, DCB and Yes Bank, which one do you think is best?
Thanks,
ask by Narendra kumar s.s ji
1.Allahabad bank is a 10 rupee face value govt sector bank. which traded at 189 and year high for allahabad bank is 236.80 year low 113.60 promoters holding 58 % , i think price of allahabad bank is still very high and fair value for buying is below 100.
2. yes bank is a private sector bank year high 389.40 and CMP 375 is near year high year low 230.55 and promoter holding 26.21 % promoter holding is continue dilute due to increasing number of shares i think this is not good for stock health and fair value for fresh buying for yes bank is below 200.
3.DCB is a strict AVOID in my criteria because promoters of DCB continue to dilute there holding from 23.06% to 21 %
4. only DENA BANK look little bit good at price of 92 with year high 114 and year low 47.50 and promoters holding 58.01 % but i still think fair value for fresh buying is below 50 for dena bank.
5. overall my view is negative for banking sector read this article for understanding my view about banks
