Bharat Immunological & Biological Corporation Ltd

Hi Mahesh,
Is it worth buying Bharat Immunological & Biological Corporation Ltd for long term?
Ask by shri Aravind CH

1. This is a loss making Pharmacy Company related to BSE group S.
2. Promoter hold 59.25 percent in bharat immunological &biological ltd and DII hold 27.60 percent is a good sign because promoter holding is more then 50 percent and interest of institutional investors is good.
3. This company never gives dividends since 2002.
4. Free float market cap of this share is 37 cr. And I like company which free float market cap is small.
5. important:- year low of this share is 8.51 and share touch his year high 25.85 at 20 Jan 2010 and after this share is continue in down trend and market depth is negative so I think it is wise to wait price below 10 for long term investment. Because book value of this share is 6.70 only so at current price this is not a value buying.

UPDATE ABOUT CALS REFINERIES

hi,any idea for cals ref. i am purchse 20000 @ 1.10for long tearm ask by shri vijay rathod.

1.Cals refineries promoters hold only 0.11 percent share in this company and Shares held by Custodians and against which Depository Receipts have been issued 83.98 percent (custodian name is The Bank of Newyork Mellon DR) so public share holding is 99.89 percent and there are a huge equity capital of cals refineries.
2.Total 7,931,300,000 shares of Cals refineries held by general public and company total sale of 2008-09 is 0.27 cr only. currentaly cals have no production.
3. face value of cals refinary share is 1 only and book value of this share is 0.99
4.you wonder that in June 09 total 69058 individual hold 517390204 share of this company and most of them is whose they trapped in this share at high price and wait for a move in this share they came to selling on every high level.
5.cals set up a 5 MMTPA refinary at halda currentaly work at progress and will start production at 2011.
6. fundamental of this share is poor but i think when this refinary start production near about after 1-2 year speculation run in this share may be seen. so hold your position till 2011 end for a profitable exit.
7. i think this is not bad to buy 1000 share at price of 0.50 (means invest only 500 and forget it) then after 1-2 year a speculation really happen then you may think about your huge profit
discloser:- at present i have no any share of cals refinary but think seriously about applying above point .
...thanks for your continue faith and support...

GITANJALI GEMS: CLEAR VALUE BUY

Dear SirI want to invests in the shares of Gitanjali Gems for longterm ( 5years) ,kindly tell me it a good buy and at what price should i buy ?ask by shri Vivek Bajaj
1. gitanjali gems is a 10 rupees face value share and I like 10 rupees face value share instead of 1 and 2 rupees face value share because they have a chance to stock spilt rally in future.
2. EPS of gitanjali gems is near about 15 and share traded at P/E near 7-8 so this share is available at a reasonable price.
3. promoters holding 51.47 percent FII holding 19.24 percent is not bad .
4. gitanjali gems give dividends in last 4 years.
5. so fundamentally gitanjali gems is a good share and what is good price for buy? I think current price is under book value ( book value of gitanjali gems is 224.38) so current price is a value buying but I always buy in SIP method means you can fix a date and buy partial quantity in this date for atleast 1 year .
6. my view is positive on this share.

LIQBEE: USEFUL INFORMATION

Sir,
L& T finance Ltd is coming out with NCD giving 8% interest on share allotment @Rs1000/each . Minimum investment Rs 10000/=.
what is your opinion?
please advise
Thanks
drsundaram
Bangalore
1. sir I think liquid benchmark exchange traded fund is more better option instead of this NCD.
2. LIFBEE is a unique AAA rated Liquid Fund that is listed and traded on the Capital Market Segment of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) just like a share. It is the first and only Liquid Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) in the World.
3.The Face Value of each unit of Liquid BeES is Rs. 1000 and the Fund endeavors to keep the daily NAV at Rs. 1000. Since its launch (July 2003) the NAV has been constant at Rs. 1000
4.The returns accrue to the investors in the form of daily dividend, which is compulsorily reinvested in the Scheme
5.The units arising out of dividend reinvestment are credited to the beneficiary (Demat ) account of the investors at least once in 30 days. The Fund declares daily dividend. If you have units in your Demat account, you become entitled to this dividend. The dividend declared is reinvested in the form of units of Liquid BeES after deducting Dividend Distribution Tax; hence the returns in your hands are absolutely TAX FREE.
6.Units of Liquid BeES are uploaded up to 3 decimals
7.NSDL and CDSL have waived all charges in LIQBEE (i.e. custody and transaction charges)8. Liquid BeES is a very efficient and convenient solution for utilizing your cash balance between trades in equity market (NSE). When you sell your shares on NSE, you can instruct your broker to purchase Liquid BeES of equal amount. This will ensure that from the date of settlement (T+2) you will start earning dividends. Also you do not have to go through the hassles of receiving a cheque, depositing it in your bank and after clearance, investing it in a Liquid Fund.9.If Liquid BeES are used
8.while buying any shares the process of redemption from a Liquid Fund and depositing a cheque to the broker can be avoided. The only thing you need to do is instruct your broker to buy the shares you want and sell equivalent amount of Liquid BeES.
9.The only effort required here is to send a security transfer instruction to your DP (You can avoid this if you are using speed-e facility or have given power of attorney to your Broker / DP) relating to Liquid BeES.
10.If you regularly invest in Liquid BeES, it makes sense to let the fractions accumulate and become whole units. Since there is no custody charge, it does not cost you anything to keep fractions in your Demat Account. However if you decide to sell, you can sell whole units on the market, while for the fractions, Benchmark AMC offers anytime buyback of fractional units directly free of charge. You can also transfer fractional units to any other Demat account to make it a rounded off unit.

SATYAM MERGER TO TECH MAHINDRA ?

Dear Kaushik sahab,
I have shares of satyam computer services @95, but I have heard it is merging with Tech mahindra so will satyam be delisted then what should I do?
With regards
ASK BY shri Pranav ji
1. respected pranav ji when mahindra satyam merge in to take mahindra then you will be automatically allotted tech mahindra shares in exchange of satyam share so please do not worry in this concern.( swap ratio is not declare but I think it is near about 10:1 )
2. Tech mahindra did not indicate any timeline for the merger; it is likely to happen soon after the fraud-hit Satyam announces its financials. The Company Law Board has granted time till June 30, 2010, for Satyam to file its accounts.
3. Tech mahindra is a very good strong fundamental company and if this merger happens you may no need to worry only hold your shares and look your profitable exit. One more important thing that if this merger date declares then a speculation rally happens in mahindra satyam or in this rally you may got price near about 140.
4. So only wait for merger or speculation rally.

JINDAL COTEX GOOD BUT NOT FAIRLY PRICED

Dear Maheshbhai,
I have bought 3000 shares of Jindal Cot @ 116 and just waiting to come out of it.
Ask by shri Dharmesh Ruparel
1. jindal cotex is an textile company and new listing at 22.09.2009
2. promoters hold 54.99 percent in jindal cotex is good and FII hold 9.35 percent is also good sign.
3. Jindal Cotex Ltd has expansion plan of 28800 cotton spindles to be set up at Village Mandiala Kalan, Tehsil Khanna, Dist. Ludhiana, the Company has installed 13200 spindles, out of which commercial production of 8400 spindles has been started and production of 4800 spindles will be started in the coming month. The balance spindles have already been ordered and will be commissioned in due course of time.
4. I already expected a bull run in textile sectore in 2011-12.
5. so in my view this is a hold and you have no need to worry about this share in long term. But you may wait for 2-5 years till company sell and revenue up currenatly dec 09 EPS of company is 0.53 paisa only so estimated EPS of FY 09-10 is near about 2 and i think 30-50 is a fair value for jindal cotex.

MY VIEW ON GOLD

Sir, I would like to know the fate of reliance gold purchased @1720, .is it wise to book loss?
Ask by shri Robert Joseph
Robert ji,
1. My view is negative on gold and I think gold may touch price below 10000 in coming years.
2. Every commodity trade in a cycle and gold is not an extraordinary commodity and you knew that gold already down 10% from it all time high 18300.
3. I have no any unit of gold ETF and wait for invest in gold ETF below 10000.
4. But remember I am not a specialist of commodity market my experience in commodity is near about zero. And I may be wrong like other investors. So make your own decision about book loss or hold.
5. I think reason of high gold price is future trading on MCX and when price fall below 15000 stop loss triggers in huge quantity and then gold fall sharply. But when it happen I do not knew.

But if you have patience to wait more I tell you some of my favorite comanayies and also describe that why I like it more. You may make an investment of 3500 in each (this is not an advice please read disclamair and make your own desison)

HEG GOOD FOR LONG TERM

Dear Sir,
I am holding 30 shares of HEG @ 363 should I exit since the mkt is in downtrend. Also please post any buy or sell recommendations as and you feel to send, if you can.
Ask by shirk SP Sharma from Jaipur (Rajasthan)

1. Indian promoters hold 25.80 percent in HEG ltd and foreign promoters hold 28.89 percent so total promoter holding in HEG ltd is 54.69 percent LIC hold 8.37 percent share and reliance growth fund also hold shares of this company .

2. So in view of holdings this is a good company.
3. Book value of HEG is 135.26 but no need to worry because all IT and Capital Goods Company have low book value.
4. But you trap near about it year high (year high is 412.70 and year low is 94).
5. This is a 10 rupees face value share and EPS is 37.16 so your purchasing price 363 is at P/E of 10 so no need to worry this is not a high P/E BUT IF ANYONE WANT TO MAKE A FRESH ENTERY PLEASE TRY TO ENTER BELOW 300
6. Debt/Equity ratio 1.53 is little high.
7. I think stock is not bad it is a dividend paying company so you may wait in this stock for a profitable exit or may hold for long term.

Ok I try to give you buy sell recommendations in my coming posts. But if any one read my post carefully he may automatic knew about my recommendations. Currently my recommendations for long term are SASKEN COM, ARVIND LTD, PUNJ LLOYED, and REL COM. You may read more details about these stocks in my coming posts.

LIST OF PENNY STOCKS AT PRICE RANGE OF 2-10

Sir give me the list of small companies which are more active within one month at a price range (Rs 2 to Rs 10) ask by shri satish from Warangal

This is the list of stocks at a price range Rs 2 to RS 10 with volume of 11.02.2010. But remember fundamental of these stocks is not check by me.
BUT CHOSSE MEDIUM VOLUME SHARE ( NOT VERY LOW VOLUME LIKE 1-500 SHARE AND NOT VERY HIGH VOLUME) for trade because very low volume stock may take time (1-5 years) to run or more risky. And very high volume indicate end of speculation rally. Play in small penny stock without check fundamentals is very risky and may lost all of your capital.
Price given here is closing price as on 11.02.2010 I think this is very useful list and publish first time in any blog.
One more thing please check face value of share before investing because if a 1 rupees face value share traded at 8 than it is not cheap.

SAAMYA BIOTECH : MAY BE MULTIBAGGER

Hi Mahesh
Is it advisable to invest big in Saamya Biotech (India) Limited stock for both short and long terms???
Thanks,
Venkat parvateeswara Sastry

1. Promoters holding in saamya biotech is 32.41 percent and promoter reduces there 2 percent holding in sep09 to dec 09 so reducing of promoter holding are little bit negative.
2. This is a T group share of 10 rupees face value.
3.
Click here to download draft and red hearing prospectus of saamya biotech.
4. Book value of this share is 10 rupees and share available at 9.5 rupees.
5. Saamya Biotech India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 17, 2009 has decided the following:

a. to increase the Authorized Share Capital of the Company from Rs. 25 Cr. to Rs. 125 Cr. Subject to the approval of the members.

b. To issue, offer and allot further shares in all or any one or in combination of Equity Shares, GDRs, ADRs, Convertible Bonds / Debentures and / or other securities to the extent of USD 40 millions subject to approval of the members of the Company.

c. To issue Equity Shares / Warrants on Preferential basis.
All these point is negative because this is equity dilution and not good for shareholders.
6. As per available information (not sure) company have no debt so this is a great positive factor.
7. Overall this is not a good investment but I think it is not bad to take some risk and buying of 100 shares such type of company may give multiple returns.

compare sbi cap securities to other broker

which one is best in net banking & dmat accounting-sbi,icici hdfc or any other institution?pl.advice- ask by krisna das

I think that icici bank is best to open d mat account instead of sbi capital securities because of following reasons: -

1- It is also a broker so in icici bank or icicidirect a trading account link with your saving account is open jointly to your d mat account so you are able to done online share trading. Some other online share trading service provider like reliance money is not a bank so if you want to trade online with there d mat account you will must to open a saving account in axis bank or icici bank.
If you open account in sbi cap securities and link your saving account in sbi so this point is not apply on sbi cap securities.

2- It research service is best in research page of www.icicidirect.com you find so many updated tools to analysis a share. But site of sbi cap securities is new and some page in this site show under construction so if we compare both sites research page we find sbi cap securities research is poor than icici direct . you can self compare both site on following links
http://content.icicidirect.com/research/research.asp
http://www.sbicapsec.com/
the button of research on sbi capsec is not work it may be under construction or open only after login.
3- If you buy a share online then it price is credited by your saving account automatically and if you sell a share it will be automatically deposited in your saving account

4- Dividend are also deposited most of companies automatically in icici bank saving account

5- In my knowledge only icicidirect is provide you a limit order service so you can place your order when market is closed.

6- Although brokerages is high in icicidirect but in view of it high quality online share trading service it is ignorable.
7.if you use GPRS internet than avoid icici direct because this site work only with high speed internet. in GPRS internet icici direct logout you automatically and show error message that user id is invalid.

HOW TO SURE SUCCESS IN COMMODITY MARKET

Kindly give detailed information regarding commodity market.Pl suggest some useful tips for sure success in it and some reliable links like Sherkhan or others.
Regards ask by Dr.bhoopendra Rewa M.P

Commodity market is one of the best speculation tools because if you speculate in shares you may lost more part of your money because shares fluctuate widely but commodity move slow and steady.
TIPS FOR COMMODITY TRADERS:-
1. Always trade commodity which not direct link to political price pressure like crude, gold guar silver Zink non edible oil.
2. Not to trade in direct public use commodity like sugar cement edible oil because long side of these commodity is trapped by government due to political issues.
3. All commodity price is cyclic so avoid one sided view (example some traders say gold is never down, it is a wrong statement)
4. Commodity trading is speculative in nature and speculation is subject of “shani” and ‘rahu” in astrology so strong these 2 planet by giving foods to dog and poor and respect your elders is also a tool to make powerful these 2 planets. Try it.
5. Fast of Thursday and repetition of Vishnu shastranama is also must for commodity traders.

commodity trading

Dear Sir, i want to invest in commodities. can you please suggest a site where I can know all about what is commodity trading, benifits of it, what we need to start trading, how big is Indian commodity trading market, is there any regulator for commodity trading?-ask by satya ji

Respected satya ji and other readers
Sorry for my absence on blog due to some common cold infection. Satya ji I recommended you 3 top most commodity trading sites in India which link is given below

www.ncdex.com/

www.angelcommodities.com/

www.commodityonline.com/

The regulator for the commodity trading market in India is the Forward Markets Commission. It is similar to SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India).

Satya ji we do not like commodity trading due to some restriction like
1.Currently in India all commodity trading is in F&O form not done on delivery base so it is pure speculation, not investment.
2.If you want to trade in gold then gold ETF on NSE traded like a share is best option for you but remember my view is bearish on gold since last 1 year and still waiting gold price below 10000 if this happen I invest in gold ETF so it is wise to wait.
We also receive some questions from SP Sharma, aravind, Krishna das and vikas bargle (welcome vikas for re visit on this blog) please wait for reply.
